Introduction

Welcome to JD Climate Contracting. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all clients, users, and customers of JD Climate Contracting.

2. Services Offered

JD Climate Contracting specializes in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services, including but not limited to:

All services are subject to availability and the terms outlined in this document.

3. Estimates and Quotes

Estimates provided by JD Climate Contracting are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless stated otherwise.Quotes are subject to revision based on unforeseen circumstances or changes in the scope of work.Any additional work outside the agreed scope will require written approval and may incur additional charges.

4. Appointments and Scheduling

All appointments must be scheduled in advance.JD Climate Contracting will strive to honor scheduled times but cannot guarantee specific time slots due to unforeseen delays.Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Failure to do so may result in cancellation fees.

5. Payment Terms

Full payment is required upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.Accepted payment methods include credit cards, debit cards, checks, and bank transfers.A deposit may be required for certain projects or equipment orders.Late payments will incur a fee of 2% per month or the maximum amount allowed by law.

6. Warranties and Guarantees

JD Climate Contracting offers a 1-year workmanship warranty on all installations.Manufacturer warranties for parts and equipment apply as per the manufacturer’s terms.Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period and are subject to inspection by JD Climate Contracting.Warranties do not cover:Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications. Issues arising from pre-existing conditions or improper use.Damage caused by natural disasters, power surges, or other external factors.

7. Liability and Indemnity

JD Climate Contracting will not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. Clients agree to indemnify JD Climate Contracting against all claims, damages, and expenses arising from the use of our services, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide clear access to the work area and disclose any relevant information about the property, including known hazards or previous HVAC issues. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure compliance with local building codes or other regulations unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

JD Climate Contracting reserves the right to cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, or non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions. Refunds will be issued only for services canceled prior to commencement. Deposits may be non-refundable depending on the nature of the work or equipment ordered.

10. Privacy Policy

JD Climate Contracting values client privacy. Personal information collected is used solely for providing services and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Edmonton, Alberta.

12. Changes to Terms

JD Climate Contracting reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. SMS Service Disclosure

Program Overview: JD Climate Contracting’s SMS service provides updates, reminders, and promotional messages related to our HVAC services. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the shortcode provided. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.
